Biography

Urban Lind has worked with IP in private practice since 1995. His practice focuses on European and international patent prosecution and includes providing strategic advice and contentious work.

Urban’s work involves drafting and prosecuting patent applications, evaluation of patent rights, freedom-to-operate analyses, infringement analyses, validity analyses, etc. He also has extensive experience of opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office and the Swedish Patent Office, as well as of court proceedings in Sweden and other countries. Urban has been responsible for major due diligence projects.

Urban primarily works with electrical and computer science and biomedical engineering in fields such as telecommunications, antenna technology, database security and medical appliances. Over the years, he has also worked in numerous other technical areas, such as mechanical areas.
