Biography

Johan Tholén has worked with IP in private practice since 2007. His practice focuses on European and international patent prosecution.

Johan works with drafting and prosecuting patent applications, as well as advising clients in IP matters such as IP strategy and freedom-to-operate analyses. In his work Johan is proactive and always strives to understand the underlying technology and needs of the client, and to deliver to a high standard.

About Johan

Johan has over 15 years of experience working with clients ranging from startup companies to large international companies, mainly in the fields of electronics and computer technology. He has particular experience with semiconductor device technology and fabrication, mmWave radar, telecommunication, diffusion MRI, as well as audio and image processing. He has also worked with software code debugging/analysis and power technology.

For domestic clients, Johan assists with pre-studies, drafting patent applications and subsequent international prosecution. For international clients, Johan typically assists with drafting and prosecuting European patent applications.
